Functional Nutrition Services
There are lots of approaches to nutrition, and knowing where to begin can be totally overwhelming. I help you simplify and start. My mission is to teach you to recognize what your body needs, and how to make changes that support these needs. I load you up with tools to make your efforts fruitful and your changes sustainable.
OUR SESSIONS ADDRESS ISSUES like digestive discomfort, low energy, food sensitivities, anxiety, depression, attention issues, high cholesterol, muscle and joint pain, acne, emotional eating, blood sugar imbalances, weight loss, high blood pressure, poor body image, brain fog...and a hankering to change all that.
Wellness is for every body. All are welcome in my practice. I want to share my food love with everyone regardless of race, ethnicity, religious beliefs, size, shape or any other qualifier used to divide us. To help accomplish that goal, I hold a few pro bono spots for BIPOC and/or GLBTQIA+ individuals who are unable to pay my fees.
Virtual appointments are available, just let me know in advance of your appointment that you'd like that option.
Your first appointment with me will be a Nutrition Consultation. The first 60 minutes of this session is dedicated to your storytelling. My goal is to understand your health history and your daily habits as best as I possibly can...which means I'll be asking you a lot of questions! This lays the foundation to our work together and guides my nutrition recommendations.
Before I send you on your way, we'll spend some time setting goals and getting the foundation of our work together laid. You'll leave with clear directions about how to get started and a path to wellness laid out for our collaboration.
Before we get together for your nutrition consultation, I'll send you some (electronic) paperwork to complete that will include a comprehensive health history, a food and activity diary and a medical symptoms questionnaire that we'll use to measure your progress.
I ask that you complete these forms and submit them to me 2 days prior to your appointment so I can review the information and have thoughtful direction prepared for our session.

Cultivating wellness is a process, not an overnight fix. When you schedule with me, you get a partner, teacher, advocate and cheerleader.
Follow-up visits are dedicated to taking steps on your wellness journey. Together we'll build you nutrition know-how so you navigate the confusing world of nutrition and wellness with confidence and clarity. I offer a number of packages to provide structure, commitment and accountability to my clients.
All appointments are located at Wellness Minneapolis unless otherwise coordinated. Virtual appointments are available - just let me know you want 'em!

There is a strict 24-hour cancellation policy on all appointments at Wellness Minneapolis. You will be prompted to enter your credit card information when scheduling an appointment. Failure to reschedule or cancel a nutrition or follow-up consultation within 24 business hours of your appointment time will result in a charge for the full fee of the appointment.
