Self-Care Shift into Spring

3/6/2020

Are you feeling your body shift from winter to spring? I sure am!
Here are some ways I'm shifting my self-care to support these experiences I'm having:
  • Drink warm water and herbal tea to warm me from the inside and support my digestion.
  • Eat cooked foods. Even though I'm craving leafy greens, I know eating raw foods this season will only bring on a battle with my digestion. Plus, raw foods are cooling and I'm struggling to keep my body temperature regulated.
  • Schedule rest time into my evenings and go to bed early.
  • Go easy on caffeine. Coffee is my Achilles heel...and it only spins up my energy, which will make it harder for me to think clearly and act intentionally.
  • Get acupuncture! I'm planning on session every 2-3 weeks to support my energy through the transition.

What's your spring transition self-care plan? Share it in the comments below!
